  • Group of friends

AT checking in ,we thought that this is not the place we want to stay, but when we saw the clean, comfortable rooms and the excellent service, made us think that we picked the best place for the the best price, definitely we will come back again.

  • Older travelers

Staff was nice. Site very peaceful and fairly claen

Internet signal very poor to use inside room

  • Older travelers

Handy to 401, good heat, nice shower. Clean,

Door key a big tricky to get into card key lock, (but my wife got it working.)

  • Older travelers

The rooms are extremely dated and barely habitable. The bath towels were the size of hand towels and threadbare. There were no amenities such as hairdryer, Kleenex and storage facilities as the cupboards under the sink were nailed down. This is based on cabana 131.

  • Older travelers

Excellent clean rooms, fantastic friendly people and decent service. The pool was cool and refreshing and the internet was an added bonus even though we chose to rather enjoy the outdoors more and the area. We loved our stay at Imperial Inn and we felt relaxed at enjoyed ourselves. They also have very exceptional prices for rooms compared to others that are close by. The Inn was nice, clean and well kept. We will be telling all our friends to stay at Imperial Inn the same as we did. There is no reason to go elsewhere. We will be back.

  • Group of friends

Had a cottage feel to it - some cottages were in the back and it was pretty quiet and wooded. Nice pool. Good location - just a walk down the street to the charming downtown of Gananoque

The front desk staff were not available one evening, even tho the "open" sign was left on, nor were they present in the morning. We were waiting for a fax from a tour company, and when the office wasn't open.....this caused a fairly significant hassle. Mysterious

  • Older travelers

I did not like the hotel at all.

The hotel is very basic, not comfortable place to rest. The use of the name 'inn' should be changed to motel, the only thing I can say the bed was clean.

  • Older travelers

So sorry we had paid in advance as we were very disappointed in room.No parking in front of our room, had to park away and carry our bags.Room very small and very old everything in it. Would not book on line again. My husband would have had a hard time having a shower in this place as the bathroom was so small and the door had to closed you could get into the shower. My husband has Parkinsons so I need to be with him for such things.

    My complaints are already written.

  • Older travelers

Nothing about the room, The check in man was friendly give us all the info we needed.

Dirty, ice machine broke, beds hard, room small, bathroom had black hair all over it. parking lot clean, put us on corner room we could hear eveyone going in and out.

  • Older travelers

Definetely positively clean Inn, we enjoyed our stay alot. They offer affordable rates and are only a few minutes to the waterfront and the islands tour, people were really nice and ensured our needs mattered. We highly suggest anyone to stay here and we will be back.

  • Older travelers

We liked that it was spotlessly clean and nice and fresh, fairly modern and up to date and very well kept. The price was also one of the best in the area.We got our moneys worth. We also had in room coffee,TV,internet for when we got bored.I guess its off season still during Spring months in Gananoque,so we would be curious to see it really busy during Summer months. We will be back again probably during our holidays in the Summer and stay there again and look forward to being able to swim in the pool when it opens for the Summer.Even if we have to pay a bit more during Summer, its still worth it.It is not high luxury, but if you want a decent clean place to stay at a respectable price Imperial Inn is worth it.Staff are nice also.

  • Single

it was dirty, had ants and bugs, it was dated, the wi-fi hardly worked, bathroom was a mess, and not well kept, for the price I paid it was way to much

  • Group of friends

Nothing it's old and dirty and the pool is not open and the rooms smelled ...

Everything. Dirty old place should be toren down.

  • Older travelers

This is not a Hilton or Marriot. So if your expectations are as high as that you will be disappointed. If you want a nice clean comfortable bed to sleep in and a nice cozy comfortable room to stay in you cant go wrong with Imperial Inn.They have the necessities you would need for a night or two and the price is very reasonable.Friendly treatment also was included which was nice.We were very satisfied with our stay and feel most people should be also based on a realistic expectation of what you are reserving and expecting for your money.Based on that, the Imperial Inn was a nice clean place to stay and we will go back again in the future We give it two thumbs up!!!--Thanks Imperial Inn

  • Couple

Very good central location to everything. Front desk person was very pleasant and professional. Our room was very clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price. Gananoque appears in the slow season in March but would be very appealing during the Summer when everything is open in town. We would stay here again for sure and would suggest to others thinking on passing through Gananoque for a night or extended stay that Imperial Inn is a hidden gem, it may be smaller than some of the big places but it is clean and the people are very nice.Very nice stay.
